1. Adjustment procedures
(1)Insert the pre-stroke adjusting shims L1 for each cylinder.
(2)Adjust injection quantity.(max. var. bet. cyl. idling a1, full a2)
(3)At basic point A, adjust so that the pre-stroke is L2.
(4)Reconfirm the injection quantity.

Information:
1. Remove the nine bolts and locks and remove tube assembly (1) from the timing gear plate. 2. Remove dowel (3) and bolts (2) that hold the valve cover base to the timing gear plate. 3. Remove shaft assembly (5) from the timing gear plate and remove the O-ring seal from the back of the shaft assembly.4. Remove the locks and nuts to remove adapter (4).5. Remove shaft assembly (7) and bearing (6) from the timing gear plate. Remove the plug from bearing (6).6. Remove the nuts and bolt that hold the accessory drive housing to the timing gear plate. 7. Remove the eight bolts and locks and remove timing gear plate (8) from the cylinder block.Install Timing Gear Plate
1. Make sure the gasket on the valve cover base is in position. Clean the surface of the cylinder block and put the gasket and timing gear plate (1) in position. Install the bolts and locks to hold the timing gear plate. 2. Install nuts (2) and bolt that hold the accessory drive housing to timing gear plate (1). 3. Put the plug in bearing (6) and install the bearing.4. Put the O-ring seal on the back of shaft assembly (4) and install shaft assemblies (4) and (5) on the timing gear plate.5. Install adapter (3) and the gasket on the timing gear plate.6. Install the bolts that hold the valve cover base to the timing gear plate. Install the dowel in the cylinder head that is used for location of the rear of the camshafts. 7. Put 7M7260 Liquid Gasket Material on the four surfaces of tube assembly (7) and install it on the timing gear plate.end by: a) install camshaftsb) install timing gears
