This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs.The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS53643" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the 04Dec2017 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Parts Needed.

PROBLEM
The DEF line to the DEF injector needs to be re-routed on certain AP1000F and AP1055F Asphalt Pavers. The existing DEF line routing can lead to DEF injector plugging that can lead to partial or full blockage of DEF flow.
The updated engine software provides improvements for BPV control, DEF level strategy, DEF quality sensor strategy, DEF injector strategy and SCR storage model, and ether injection quantity.
