SUBJECT: Fuel Leaks on the Fuel Injection Pumps on 3208 Applications
PROBLEM:
The main problems that are described in warranty claims are fuel leakage and poor engine performance. Many of the fuel leaks and performance complaints are diagnosed as problems in the area of the fuel transfer pump that is contained in the Pump Gp. The 0R-2371 fuel pump shaft (cam) has unacceptable wear area under both lip seals after the reman process.
The following pump groups are the governor and fuel injection pump groups that are used in various 3208 applications.

The serial number plate (1) is located on the pump.
SOLUTION:
All 0R-2371 camshafts will be sent out to be refurbished back to the original size. No dealer action other than to replace with like parts is needed at this time. Parts are effective with the following pump sequence numbers:
